A huge crowd turned up to support the Fit Malaysia carnival at Taman Awam Teluk Likas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on the 21st September 2014.
The atmosphere for the day was filled with beautiful sunshine and lovely sea breeze.
The Minister of Youth and Sports was there to join in with some of the fitness activities. Since the response to this roadshow was overwhelming the Minister said that Fit Malaysia would be coming back for a second round in Sabah and in other states as well.
Many people in Sabah have not heard of “Stick2stix” aerobic workout. But our event attracted the attention and participation of a big crowd comprising men, women, the young and the old. The “sticks” were flown all the way from Kuala Lumpur. The instructor for this roadshow was the very experienced Puan Salmi from Johor Bahru.
After the workout, the participants were exhausted but they seemed to have enjoyed themselves. They said they would try it again if given the opportunity.
