“Stick2stix Championship Trophy” was held on the 9th November 2014 at Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam. The occasion was graced by Dato’ Sri Dr Azalina Bt Dato’ Othman Said, WSFFM’s Honorary Advisor. Puan Sri To’ Puan Datuk Shariffa Sabrina Bt Syed Akil, President of WSFFM, in her opening speech welcomed all the participants and guests.

Other guests of honour included Puan Hajah Salmah Binti Aziz, Director of Fitness, Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS), Encik Mohd Salehuddin, Director Group Halal & Sustainability CCM Bhd and Mr Billy Arudra – Chief Commercial officer CCM pharmaceutical Division. And also not forgetting Tan Sri Syed Mohd Yusof Syed Nasir whose birthday was on the same day. Congratulations and a Very Happy Birthday to Tan Sri’ Syed Yusof.

Puan Noor Hafidzah, our Secretary General was the MC for the day.

14 teams took part in the tournament of which 8 teams qualified for the finals. The qualifying rounds were done in the morning at 9 am. The finals started at 3 pm.

The winners :

• Champion- Next Generation (Mindef) : Received Ringgit Malaysia 5 thousand, a challenge trophy. medals plus hampers ( Nestle) and certificates.
• Runner-up: Fit Dancers (Sarawak) – Received Ringgit Malaysia 3 thousand, medals plus hampers (Nestle) and certificates.
• 1st Runner-up: – Super Sapphira Fitness (Sarawak) – Received Ringgit Malaysia 2 thousand, medals plus hampers (Nestle) and certificates.
• 2nd Runner-up: Dolcissimo B (Kuala Lumpur) – Received certificates, hampers (Nestle & Farhana’s oven)

There were lots of lucky draws. Prizes were donated by Nestle, Syarikat Faiza and Tanah Aina Soraya. The guests had high tea before dispersal.

WSFFM wish to thank everyone who helped make this occasion a success. It was an enjoyable event and hope to see all of you again in 2016.
