The Foundation has established, together with the Ministry of Sport, the biannual National Women’s Games (2005 and 2007).
Participants in the 2nd National Women’s Games competed in 12 sports. A total of 5,000 athletes and officials attended.
Through the well-managed programme of the Foundation, women of all ages and from all walks of life have the possibility to participate in a wide range of activities, ranging from sport for all activities to high-performance sports.
In addition, the Foundation organizes women’s coaching training throughout the country, and many women have obtained paid positions as coaches.”
